About Me
I’ve been in practice for a decade using evidence based treatment strategies to help people rediscover the bedrock of their most grounded self, so they can face life’s challenges head on and with a measure of confidence. In technical terms, I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the idea that much of how we feel is determined by what we think, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), which concludes that much of what we think is determined by what we feel. That means that in our work together we will set out to explore your full range of emotions and thoughts, an exploration without judgment or criticism. Your feelings exist for a reason, and working together our job is to experience, understand and validate them, and through that process turn your emotions and cognitions into your allies rather than your adversaries.
